Ceramic disks depict vignettes from everyday life in Mexico. Crafted and painted by hand, these ornaments convey a nostalgia for neighborhoods and small town life. Eleazar Leal depicts a girl selling clay jars in an open-air market and a cobblestone street where a small mom-and-pop store sells abarrotes groceries of all kinds. The church on the plaza can be seen in the background.

The reverse side of each is plain.
