Balinese artisan Trisna Dewi designs this charming handmade wind chime using a part of the coconut tree called ‘kloping’ or calyx. Kloping is brown in color and protects the coconut flower and fruit like a shell, and it’s common for traditional Balinese artists to use this part of the tree in their crafts. The whimsical piece of kloping creates a slender, minimalist curve, and the hand-tuned aluminum pipes send serene notes through the air whenever the wind blows. This would make a lovely accent inside the home, and if used outside the calming sounds will brighten any atmosphere.

  • Coconut kloping (calyx), nylon string, aluminum pipes
  • 0.25 lbs
  • 31.5 inches H x 6 inches Diam.
