As the son of a papier mache artisan, Fida Hussain works to continue this artistic legacy. He creates this small decorative box from weeping willow wood covered with papier mache. It is then sanded and painted carefully in exquisite detail. The pale grey, black and golden box features a floral motif and a velvet lining.
