The feathered serpent, Quetzalcoatl, unites the divine and human worlds in a harmonious unity that makes it a venerated spirit among ancient Mesoamerican cultures. This time, the serpent is depicted in the traditional alebrije style in this copal wood figurine crafted by Alejandro and Rocio Jimenez from Mexico. Featuring a palette of orange and blue hues, the artwork comes with diverse traditional motifs painted by hand.
